vowels of Hindi

when you are learning Hindi from English few things are important :
the Hindi contains alphabets more than the English and the sounds are foreign to any English learning Hindi.
the vowels are as follows.
अआ are similar to u in fun . and a in barge . 

इई are similar to e in knee 

उ ऊ are similar to o in move and oo in rooster

ए  a in air

ऐ is between the sound of a in magazine and y of ply.

ओ औ  is like first  o in motor. like ou in plough

अं अ : is nasal and also hard n. and the second vowel is sounds like aha.

ऋ  is vowel sound of R something like french R.
